(CLAY TOWNSHIP) — Authorities say the body of a missing Port Huron man has been found in a canal in St. Clair County. Sheriff’s department Marine Division Lt. Paul Reid says the victim, 21-year old Jake Ward, was last seen over the weekend in Clay Township. Ward had been visiting a home in the area. Reid says the man’s body was found by a homeowner at 8845 Anchor Bay Drive in Clay Township and recovered Monday evening. He says the death appears to be accidental. An autopsy is planned.
