The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department has received 26 Advanced Bleeding Control kits from the Sanilac Medical Control Authority. The kits were developed through a series of meetings and training sessions held by Sanilac County Law Enforcement, Fire and EMS Agencies. The partnership with Sanilac Medical Control and area first responders working together to develop and distribute the kits, will help equip them should the need arise in a violent encounter. The agencies held an Active Assailant Training Drill last June at the Sandusky High School.
