A 32-year old Peck woman was injured in a one-car rollover accident Friday night, west of Peck. Sanilac County sheriff deputies responded to the scene in Elk Township at 9 p.m. Deputies said Michelle Barr, of Peck, was traveling east on Peck Road when she lost control of her vehicle and over-corrected, causing the accident. She was transported to McKenzie Hospital in Sandusky for treatment of her injuries. Police said she was wearing a seatbelt and the air bags did go off.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor. Sheriff’s Deputies were assisted by Peck Police, Elk Twp. Fire Department and Tri-Hospital EMS.
