A 35-year old Carsonville woman sustained injuries in a one vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Deckerville. According to Sanilac County sheriff deputies, the woman was traveling south on Main St when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the centerline and struck a tree. The woman, whom police have not identified, was treated at Deckerville Hospital.
Police said alcohol is believed to have been a factor and the woman was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
