(Marlette Township) – Motorists driving on M-53 in Sanilac County will have a bit of a delay beginning in May. The Michigan Department of Transportation will be investing $1 million to resurface 5.5 miles of M-53 from north of Marlette to M-46.
The work is expected to start on May 8th and should be completed sometime in June. Traffic will be maintained with flag control while the resurfacing work is being done.
