(Port Huron) The St. Clair County Drug Task Force continues to make drug dealing a risky business in our community.
According to Sheriff Tim Donnellon, the DTF concluded two investigations into the sales of narcotics in Port Huron in the past 24 hours and assisted Yale Police in another.
At about 9:00 p.m. Thursday night, a search warrant was executed in the 2600 block of 10th Street in the city of Port Huron. Members of the DTF entered the home, where they located and seized crystal methamphetamine, meth lab components, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, packaging material, cell phones and cash.
A 48 year old man and 40 year old woman, both from Port Huron were arrested at the home. A 17 year old boy and 15 year old girl who were in the home were turned over to their grandmother.
The suspects face charges of possession with intent to deliver crystal methamphetamine, operating and maintaining a meth lab, possession of marijuana, possession of a taser and being a habitual offender.
This morning at about 10:00, the DTF raided another drug dealers home, this time in the 1000 block of Pearl Street in Port Huron. Heroin, analogue pills and marijuana were located and seized inside the residence, along with cash, cell phones, scales and packaging materials.
Two Port Huron men, ages 29 and 22, and two women from Port Huron, ages 23 and 20 were arrested at the home. They face charges including possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of marijuana.
While those investigations were going on, the DTF also assisted the Yale Police Department in their investigation of marijuana and analogue pills.
The Drug Task Force concludes the past week with a total of six drug raids, involving heroin, crystal meth, methamphetamine, analogue pills and marijuana. A total of 18 people were arrested
