(Yale) – The crackdown on drugs continues to keep law enforcement agencies busy. Yale police arrested a 55-year old woman Thursday morning, after receiving a tip she had marijuana in the trunk of her car while at a local business.
Police Chief Brian Mahaffy said the stop was made at a local gas station and police found a large amount of marijuana in her trunk and an amount of prescription drugs inside her car. The woman was arrested and interviewed by police.
The St. Clair County Drug Task Force Team assisted Yale police and are continuing the investigation in to the case.
