(Lamotte Township) – Three people were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Lamotte Township Wednesday afternoon. According to Sanilac County sheriff deputies, a 62-year old Silverwood woman was driving east on Snover Road around 4 p.m. when she failed to yield to a southbound car. After the impact, the southbound vehicle then struck a vehicle traveling east on Snover Road driven by a 48-year-old Deford man.
The driver of the third vehicle was not injured in the accident. According to deputies, the woman was taken to Cass City Hospital by Marlette EMS. The driver of the second vehicle, a 77 year-old Pigeon man and his 73 year-old female passenger were also injured and transported to Marlette Hospital by Marlette EMS.
Deputies said alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
