Two Sanilac County men were injured in a one-vehicle accident

A single-vehicle rollover accident early Friday evening in Sanilac County’s Worth Township resulted in injuries to two Sanilac County men. According to Sanilac County Sheriff Deputies, the driver, a 22-year-old Croswell man was traveling north on Black River Road near Burns Line Road around 6:15pm when he went off the right shoulder of the road while trying to negotiate a curve.
The vehicle then overturned several times ejecting the passenger, a 25-year-old Sandusky man, before coming to rest on it’s side. When police and EMS arrived, the driver had crawled from the wreckage and was assisting the passenger.
The passenger was taken to McLaren Port Huron Hospital for treatment while the driver was treated by Croswell EMS at the scene.
Police say neither the driver or passenger were wearing their seatbelts and names are not being released pending investigation.
