Following a traffic stop in Pigeon last week, Huron County Sheriff Deputies took two local men into custody after a lengthy drug investigation involving the sale of marijuana. A 37-year-old Bad Axe man was arrested on a felony charge of delivery of marijuana while a 35-year-old Caseville man was taken in to custody on a parole violation from a previous drug conviction. A search of the Bad Axe man’s address in Sheridan Twp. resulted in confiscation of 83 non-compliant medical marijuana plants. During the course of the search, a Cadillac Escalade, recording equipment, and cash were also seized. Sheriff Kelly Hanson said the case remains under investigation with further charges possible.
