Deckerville board approves athletic field improvements

The Deckerville school board has accepted the audit report for the 2016-2017 fiscal year, showing revenues of nearly $5.8 million dollars and expenditures of $5.86 million dollars.
$51,500 dollars of fund equity was used to help balance the district’s budget.
The board also accepted the bid of $56,800 by Schulz Masonry Construction to construct new baseball and softball dugouts on the school’s athletic complex and gave approval for the school to be used as an alternative care facility, in the event on a major disaster or public emergency.
