A four-alarm fire Monday night on Koylette Road destroyed the home of a Marlette area family. According to Marlette Fire Chief Dan Korte, flames and heavy smoke were through the roof of the one and a half story home around 7 p.m. when the first units arrived. Two people at home managed to escape the flames uninjured. Burlington Township, LaMotte Township and Kingston fire departments responded with manpower and tanker assists, pouring over 15,000 gallons of water on the fire. Cheif Korte said the home is most likely a total loss and no injuries were reported. Firemen remained on scene for over four hours
