A two-alarm fire in Forester Township around 11 p.m. forced a family from their home. Sanilac East Fire Authority Fire Chief Brian Moran, St. said his department was called to an electrical fire in a home located next to Forester County Park. Moran said heavy smoke was coming from the home with the largest fire coming from an area in the attic, causing etensive damage. Everyone home at the time of the fire was able to escape, after rescuing family pets. Firemen were assisted by Deckerville fire department and remained on the scene until 3 a.m.
