An outdated building in Lapeer County could have a meeting with the wrecking ball sometime this summer, paving the way for additional parking. Lapeer County Commissioners are considering their approval of green lighting the demolition project that would level the former Register of Deeds building on N. Court Street. The $24,000 dollar project near the Lapeer County complex would allow for additional parking spaces for those needing to conduct county business.
