Following action taken by city council, it’s going to cost residents of Caseville a few more dollars for their utilites later this year. The Caseville City Council voted to increase water and sewer rates, beginning July 1st. Council approved a ten cents per thousand gallons increase for both sewer and water and also agreed to a quarterly increase of trash collection by one dollar, beginning in October. Council has also reviewed the next fiscal budget and scheduled a public hearing for June, prior to the final approval.
