Emergency crews from several agencies responded to a two-vehicle accident just east of Peck Monday afternoon. Details of the crash are still being gathered, but witnesses say it appeared a car and pickup truck collided at the intersection of M-19 and Peck Road shortly after 3 pm. Sanilac County sheriff deputies, Michigan State Police, Marlette and Sanilac EMS, along with Elk Township fire department, all responded to the scene. There was no immediate report of injuries, although at least one person was transported from the scene.
