Sandusky police have arrested a city resident on sex crimes, following an investigation last week.
Police Chief Bret Lester said officers responded to the home of a 66-year old resident, after receiving information the man was in possession of alleged child pornography on electronic devices.
Michael Nizich was arraigned in Sanilac County Court and lodged in the Sanilac County jail on $75,000 dollar bond, facing seven charges of possession of sexually explicit material.
Chief Lester said no victims have come forward at this time and also stated officers first received information on the case last Tuesday, making the arrest last Friday afternoon.
The Chief refused to give the man’s address or street of residence.
