The Village of Deckerville Announces COVID-19 Mitigation Measures
The Village of Deckerville recognizes that the safety and well-being of its residents and employees is paramount regardless of whatever situation may arise. The Village is taking necessary steps and measures while continuing to provide exemplary service to the community. At the recent recommendation of the CDC and Governor Whitmer, the Village of Deckerville will adhere to the following protocols until April 6, 2020 where we then will reassess these measures:
1. The Village Offices will be closed to residents during this time. All Residents are asked to conduct business with the Village via US Mail, telephone, email, fax or online. The drop box at the east end of the building can be utilized and is checked daily and continually. If need be, appointments will be available for any pressing issues.
2. All public meetings will be postponed including but not limited to the Village Council, Planning Commission, Zoning Board, and any subcommittees of these entities.
3. The Village of Deckerville will adhere to the recommendations of Federal and State Agencies, the CDC, and the Sanilac County Department of Public Health in order to limit the possibility of community spread of COVID-19.

Lastly, we want to reiterate to our residents that we are yielding in on the side of caution and are taking all necessary measures to protect the safety of our residents and our employees.
