BREAKING NEWS:
Sandusky Superintendent Paul Flynn has notified parents of 7th and 8th grade students today that beginning Thursday, students will become total virtual learning.
In his letter to parents, Flynn said the district has been made aware of one additional positive COVID case among staff in the Jr/Sr high school.
He said it was the district’s hope when the state began the 3 week “pause” that they would be able to continue with face to face instruction for the 7th and 8th grade students.
Wednesday morning in his notice, Flynn said it has become impossible to cover staff in the building, forcing them to make the move to virtual instruction for grades 7- 8 tomorrow (Thursday Dec 3rd).
Teachers will be working to prep the students today.
At this time, Flynn says students would return next Wednesday, at the end of the state’s period of restrictions.
If the restrictions are extended, the district will notify parents of further information on instruction delivery.
