(ST. CLAIR COUNTY) – A 59-year old Port Huron man has been arraigned on multiple drug charges following a St. Clair County Drug Task Force investigation.
According to Sheriff Mat King, Charles Mellick was arrested in the 1400 block of 27th Street in Port Huron Township December 16th.
Members of the DTF had been conducting an investigation into the sales of narcotics in the Port Huron area.
Once they located Mellick, he was found to have approximately $9300 worth of methamphetamine, $1100 worth of heroin and nearly $300 worth of prescription drugs with him.
He was arrested and lodged in the St. Clair County Intervention and Detention Center.
Mellick was arraigned in St. Clair County 72nd District Court on multiple drug charges including delivery/manufacture of methamphetamine and felony firearm.
Mellick is being held on a $50,000 cash/surety bond and is facing further court action.
