Port Huron Police have identified the man found in his pickup truck last Thursday in the St. Clair River.
While they are still looking into why and when the truck went into the water, based on preliminary investigation, they do not believe that foul play or a second vehicle was involved. They are currently waiting for the St. Clair County Medical Examiner to finish their investigation before officially concluding no foul play in the death of the 47-year-old driver from Kimball.
Police Captain Brian Kerrigan said today that tire tracks, possibly caused when the truck went into the water, had been found in a vacant lot opposite of St. Clair Landings.
