St. Clair Drug Task Force busy again

Per usual, the St. Clair County Drug Task Force had a busy week, concluding three raids last Thursday and Friday that yielded five arrests and cash, weapons and drugs being seized. On Thursday night, with the help of the Port Huron K-9 unit, DTF executed a search warrant at the 5000 block of Griswold Road in Kimball Township. They arrested a 28-year-old woman after finding methamphetamine, heroin, cash and a drug scale. She faces possession of methamphetamine, possesssion with intent to distribute heroin, being a habitual offender and maintaining a drug house.
The next morning at 11:30 a.m., another search warrant was served, this time at Port Huron’s Day Inn on Pine Grove, and with the assistance of Port Huron Police. Upon entry, agents found two men with loaded handguns, as well as $23,000 in cash, heroin, methamphetamine, two rifles, another handgun and drug measuring and packaging materials. From this raid, agents arrested a 19-year-old Marysville man, a 36-year-old woman, and a 55-year-old man from Tennessee. Their charges include possession with intent to deliver heroin, maintaining a drug house, felony firearm and concealed weapon, and possession of meth.
A raid later on Friday had the Drug Task Force serving a warrant in Port Huron’s 300 block of 16th Street, this search turning up meth, cocaine, digital scales and packaging materials. The 30-year-old male resident was taken into custody and lodged at the St. Clair Intervention and Detention Center on charges of possession to distribute both the cocaine and meth, as well as maintaining a drug house and being a habitual offender.
