Sanilac Drug Task Force seizes over $4500 in meth, arrests two

A pair from Port Huron are lodged at the Sanilac County Jail after being arrested Wednesday on multiple drug charges and several outstanding out of county warrants for criminal matters involving traffic and drug offenses.
The Sanilac Drug Task Force, as assisted by the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office, arrested them following a traffic stop in Worth Township on July 20, as they were found with a sizable amount of methamphetamine that is valued on the street at over $4500, as well as suspected fentanyl and related paraphernalia.
The 31-year-old woman and her 37-year-old male companion are expected to be arraigned on multiple drug related charges.
