St. Clair County Sheriff deputies say that icy road conditions caused a Friday morning accident in Brockway Township that left a Kimball man injured and his passenger deceased.
Shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Friday, December 30, a 43-year-old Kimball man lost control of his 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 on Norman Road, driving into the ditch as a result. While the Kimball man suffered non-life threatening injuries, his passenger, a 47-year-old Clare County man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The St. Clair County Accident Investigation Team is continuing to work on the case.
