The Sandusky city council is slated for a light agenda at tonight’s meeting.
Having finished up budget discussions and signed tentative agreements with workers unions GELC (Governmental Employees Labor Council) and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees on February 28, the council cleared the way for an agenda where the main item is paying the city’s monthly bills of almost $40,000, as well as any other action items the council may bring to the table during committee reports.
For instance, the ordinance board is still meeting and discussing a possible chicken ordinance in town, as brought to the council over a month ago, with City Manager Dave Faber to draw up a sample ordinance for further discussion.
However, with that not on the agenda officially, it could be a short meeting tonight, starting at 5:30 p.m.
