With a resolution planned to declare May as Motorcycle Awareness Month, the Sanilac County Board of Commissioners will be holding their next monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 2.
In addition to the resolution, the board is slated to hear a presentation from Health Officer Bryant Wilke on the county’s Child Abuse Prevention Council impact report last year.
They will also be interviewing five people for the county’s pension plan board, with a term on the board lasting for three years. The commissioners will be interviewing Christina Baldwin, Michael Bower, Angela Kramer, Michele Vannorman, and Janet Wilkins for the pension plan board.
Several action items on Tuesday’s agenda require commissioner approval, such as approving a memorandum of understanding for the Parks Commission, the 2023 lease agreement for the Health Department, and the amended childcare budget for the county’s circuit court.
The board will be meeting at the courthouse at 1:00 p.m. next Tuesday for the meeting, with their Finance and Administration committee meeting to follow.
