Hunter Hospitality House is selling tickets for its fifth annual Endowment Fund Awareness Raffle.
The drawing will be held on August 31, 2023, at 5 pm at the Hunter Hospitality Family House, 1015 Vanderburgh Place, in Port Huron Michigan. Need not be present to win.
Hunter Hospitality House is a nonprofit organization providing free lodging in three locations near both hospitals in Port Huron. Eligible guests include the loved ones of hospitalized patients; outpatients with frequent treatment for conditions like cancer or wound care; those with loved ones in nearby medical facilities like the Blue Water Hospice Home; and people who need a place to stay in town the night before a surgery or medical appointment.
The raffle prizes include:
1st Prize: $5,000 cash. If less than one hundred tickets are sold, the first prize will be 50% of the proceeds.
2nd Prize: 1.5 carat Baguette Three Row Diamond Ring worth $4,000, donated by Lawrence Jewelers.
3rd Prize: E-Bike; winner chooses between a men’s Giant Roam E or a women’s Liv Rove E, both valued at $2,750 and provided by Greg & Kate May and Alpine Cycles.
4th Prize: Ruko F11 Pro Drone with Camera provided by JC Poured Walls and worth $400.
5th Prize: 2-night stay at the DoubleTree Hotel with a water view, plus a $50 gift card to Freighters Restaurant, totaling $300 value, donated by DoubleTree Hotel and Freighters Restaurant.
Only three hundred tickets will be sold, increasing the buyers’ probability of winning.
All proceeds from the raffle will benefit Hunter Hospitality House, including its endowment fund held by the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. An endowment fund is an important strategy to set aside assets for the future, ensuring Hunter Hospitality House will remain in the community for generations to come.
