The Sandusky City Council had a seven-minute meeting Monday, the meeting quick with a very light agenda once more.
The July 3 meeting saw city police chief Brett Lester introducing the council to his department’s new member, Officer Majors, who had been hired towards the end of last month. In addition to the introduction, the council approved the use of the Diamond Trail Park and Pavilion for Community Mental Health’s July picnic.
They also heard updates from council members Norton Schram and Ginny Bissett, with the former updating the council on the aeronautics board and the latter giving updates on behalf of the city’s fire association.
The board is scheduled to meet again on Monday, July 17, at 5:30 p.m.
