The Huron County Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is seeking input from in-home child care providers to help shape the future of child care throughout the Thumb area. A collaborative response launched by the Huron County EDC, the Thumb Area Care Coalition (TACC) is aimed at addressing the community’s child care challenges through a more economic-centered lens.
“In-home child care providers play a vital role in nurturing the development and well-being of our youngest community members. Their dedication and passion create safe and nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive,” said Carl Osentoski, Executive Director of Huron County EDC. “To ensure that they have the tools they need to continue providing exceptional care, we’re calling on all in-home child care providers to lend their voices to our survey.”
Responses from the proposed survey, in addition to group discussions put forth by TACC, will be used in shaping child care support systems, as well as access to those support systems when or where they are needed. All participant responses will remain anonymous and will be combined with answers gathered from other surveyors.
If you would like to take part in the survey, it is available at bit.ly/ThumbAreaChildCareSurvey. Responders can also opt to register and be contacted for future feedback opportunities at the end of the survey.
