A fifth grader at an Imlay City school has been removed from campus as local police open an investigation into several concerning comments the student made.
Several students at Borland Elementary School in Imlay City report that the fifth grader had made several concerning statements, which teachers and staff were immediately made aware of.
Brought in by the school’s staff, law enforcement has opened an investigation, with the student being removed from the school until further notice and the student’s parents being notified. At this time, there is no threat to student safety, according to police.
