Sanilac County S.A.V.E. Council announces recent golf scramble winners

The SAVE Council held the annual Polynesian Putt Moonlight Golf Scramble on Friday, September 15th at Woodland Hills.
This year’s event included 22 registered teams that braved the golf course in darkness to scramble the front 9 holes and help raise $7,500 to support Eva’s Place. This year’s team winners were Jeremy Radloff, Kait Woodward, Brandon Blank and Tim Wrathell. The night’s best Putter was Chris Beatty, best Chipper was Brandon Blank and best Hula Hooper was Allie Lanctot.

The S.A.V.E. Council’s next event will be their Children’s Harvest Hop, where local families are invited out to Sandusky’s Diamond Trail on Friday, October 20 for treats and fun. The event, which runs from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., has free entry and plenty of activities and treats for children of all ages. Costumes are encouraged. Any organization interested in contributing a treat or activity to the event are urged to register at evasplaceshelter.org.
