A 34-year old Ubly man suffered serious injuries after being stabbed by his wife Tuesday night. Huron County Sheriff Kelly Hanson says central dispatch received a 911 call shortly after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night from the resident of an apartment on Washington Street, stating that a stabbing had just taken place. Upon arrival, deputies found the 34-year old man with a severe puncture wound to his back. Before the man lost consciousness, he advised police that the suspect was his wife, and that the two of them had been having marital difficulties recently. The 32-year old woman was found and arrested by Bad Axe police outside of the apartment building. The victim was transported by Central Huron Ambulance to McLaren Thumb Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The 32-year old woman faces felony assault charges and is being held in the Huron County Jail awaiting arraignment on a $25,000 cash bond.
