The St. Clair County Drug Task Force assisted their Macomb County counterparts with executing multiple search warrants last Thursday.
During execution of warrants from County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) on May 30, law enforcement seized over 1.6 pounds of methamphetamine, 277 suspected fentanyl pills, 30 grams of cocaine, over 290 grams of fentanyl, 45 grams of heroin, and six firearms (3 of which were reported stolen out of local jurisdictions). The approximate street value of the drugs is $50,000.
In addition to also seizing cash and a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette with intent to forfeit, DTF and COMET arrested two suspects, each with prior violent felony convictions. Both were lodged pending arraignment.
The investigation is ongoing.
