Early voting begins next weekend across Michigan, with Sanilac County announcing the location, date and times for their early voting site.

Sanilac County voters wishing to cast their ballot before the general election on Tuesday, November 5, can do so starting Saturday, October 26 at the Sanilac Emergency Operations and Training Center, located at 95 Dawson Street in Sandusky. Hours for early voting in Sanilac County will be 8am to 4pm Monday through Saturday, with Sunday early voting taking place from noon to 8pm.

The early voting location will be open for voters until 8pm on Sunday, November 3. The polls will then open at specific town/township precincts on Election Day, with polls opening at 7am and closing that night at 8pm.

If you are voting via an absentee ballot, remember that absentee ballots also are due to the local clerk’s office by 8pm, though those voting overseas/in the military just need their absentee ballot postmarked by Election Day and received within six days after the election to be counted.
