A Tuscola County man was involved in a Sunday night traffic crash that killed an Otisville woman, according to Michigan State Police.
Flint Post troopers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred about 11:35 PM on Sunday, December 15, on State Road near Wildwood Drive in Genesee County’s Forest Township.
Preliminary investigation indicates a 24-year-old Vassar man was driving south on State Road in a 2003 Chevrolet Impala when he crossed the center line and struck a 2012 Chrysler 200 head on. The Vassar man was ejected from his car, being critically injured when he was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The driver of the Chrysler, a 34-year-old Otisville woman, sustained fatal injuries and did not survive the crash.
Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. This incident remains under investigation.
