(COTTRELLVILLE TOWNSHIP) — Two people were arrested during a drug raid Tuesday evening in Cottrellville Township. St. Clair County Drug Task Force Officers raided a home in the 800 block of Oak Street in the Shangri-La Village Homes at around 6 p.m. During a search of the residence, heroin was located and seized, along with digital scales and drug paraphernalia. A 40-year old woman from Cottrellville and a 41-year old Illinois man were arrested. Both are expected to face charges including possession of heroin, maintaining a drug house, and parole absconder.
