(CLYDE TOWNSHIP) — The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in the ongoing investigation of a fatal crash in Clyde Township that claimed the life of a tow truck driver. Specifically, investigators are seeking to speak with any drivers that passed the Preferred Towing wrecker that was on North Road south of Keewahdin Road prior to the crash on January 15. Owner and operator Jason Schultz, 28 of Clyde Township, was killed in that crash. The St. Clair County Prosecutor’s Office is awaiting toxicology reports from the Michigan State Police Crime Lab before reviewing charges on the 18-year old driver of the vehicle involved in the crash.
