(AREA) — Hospitals and public health departments in Huron, Sanilac, and Tuscola counties are conducting a survey to identify health needs that are most important to our communities and residents. Participating hospitals include Caro Community Hospital, Deckerville Community Hospital, Harbor Beach Community Hospital, Hills and Dales General Hospital, Huron Medical Center, Marlette Regional Hospital, McKenzie Health System, and Scheurer Hospital. The survey period for Sanilac and Huron counties is February 1 – March 15, followed by Tuscola County which concludes June 30. These organizations are seeking the public’s open and honest feedback regarding health needs, utilization of local services, and suggestions for improvement. Anyone can complete the survey. Responses to this survey will be submitted anonymously and participants may skip any question that they do not want to answer. Responses will be combined with other survey responses and reported only in total. In appreciation for their time, survey participants will be provided an opportunity at the conclusion of the survey to enter a drawing for a chance to win one of 15 $25 gift cards.
