Family HealthCare of Brown City Supports Local Athletes

(BROWN CITY) — In anticipation of the 2015-2016 academic school year, the office of Family HealthCare of Brown City offered reduced rate sports physicals to area athletes for a cost of $10 last summer. Marlette Regional Hospital and Family HealthCare of Brown City wanted to help local students prepare for the sports season in good health and at an affordable price. They also wanted to support school athletics by donating half of the proceeds to the athletic program. Over a two-day offering during the summer months, 111 sport physicals were provided by Dr. Daniel Kulick and physician assistant Kimberly Verellen and in turn, $555 was donated to the Brown City athletic program.
