(LAPEER) — Lapeer officials remind residents that the countywide Tornado Siren Test is taking place this Saturday, April 2 at 1 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the test will be cancelled. Communities in Lapeer with sirens will activate them in warning mode at 1 p.m. Households are encouraged to review their emergency plans during the test and be prepared to have the needed supplies to sustain themselves for 72 hours after a severe weather event.
