McKenzie Health System and Farm Bureau Health Services to Host 2 “Medicare Made Easy” Workshops on February 6, 2025

Sanilac County, Mich. – McKenzie Health System, in collaboration with Farm Bureau Health Services, is pleased to announce two new “Medicare Made Easy” workshops. These events will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2025. The first workshop will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the second will run from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Both events will be held at the Sandusky Presbyterian Church located at 104 Lexington Street in Sandusky.

These free workshops are designed to help individuals understand the complexities of Medicare and empower them to make informed decisions. Seating at each event is limited to the first 20 registrants, so early registration is encouraged.

Presenters for the events will include Alecia Parks, Health Insurance Navigator at McKenzie Health System and Cindy Leen, Health Insurance Agent – Medicare Products at Farm Bureau Health Services. Attendees will gain insights into key Medicare topics, including:

· What is Medicare?

· Who is eligible for Medicare?

· How and when to enroll in Medicare

· Understanding Medicare’s ABCs

· Medicare costs and coverage

· Exploring Medicare choices

· Maximizing Medicare benefits
