(LAPEER) — A Crime Stoppers tip helped Michigan State Police Troopers identify the suspect accused of robbing the CMS Marathon station at the corner of Davison and Elba Roads in Lapeer County’s Elba Township. The robbery took place during the early morning hours of Saturday, April 2. The suspect has been identified as 43-year old Cherron Wright of Mt. Morris. He was allegedly seen on camera entering the store and robbing the clerk around 6 a.m. and leaving the scene in a white car. Anyone with information on Wright’s whereabouts is asked to contact authorities immediately.
