Prince’s family and friends say a “Loving Goodbye”

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – There was no large gathering, no procession with fans lining the streets: just an event attended by Prince’s “most beloved” family, friends and musicians. The service for Prince was held Saturday after his remains had been cremated. There was no official list of attendees. But the singer’s sister was there as well as friends like drummer Sheila E. and bass player Larry Graham. A publicist for Prince says there will be a musical celebration for Prince at a future date, but provided no details. She also says the storage of his cremains will be private. Prince died Thursday at his Paisley Park estate. He was 57.
