Ripa, on ‘Live,’ says uproar over exiting co-host settled

NEW YORK (AP) – Kelly Ripa says all has been discussed and all is forgiven. Returning to “Live” on Tuesday after several days’ absence, Ripa addressed the uproar that erupted last week when she was blindsided by the announcement that her co-host, Michael Strahan, is headed to “Good Morning America” full-time. Ripa said the episode sparked an important discussion with her bosses over communication and “respect in the workplace.” She called the “Live” show more than a workplace, describing it as her second home. Ripa said she was “thrilled” for Strahan, just before he joined her for the host chat. “I’m so happy you’re back,” he told her.
