(TUSCOLA COUNTY) — Tuscola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash Sunday evening at the intersection of Gilford and Ringle Roads in Fairgrove Township.Initial investigation found that a northbound vehicle driven by an 18-year old Caro man failed to stop for the stop sign at Ringle Road, striking an eastbound vehicle driven by a 24-year old Caro woman. The Caro man and his 17-year old passenger, also from Caro, were extricated from the vehicle using the Fairgrove Fire Department Jaws of Life. The driver was then flown by Flight Care to an undisclosed Saginaw Hospital, while the passenger was taken by ambulance. Their conditions remain unknown at this time. The driver of the eastbound vehicle, a 24-year old Bay City woman, and her three young children sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported by ambulance to a Bay City Hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
