(CHICAGO) — Sinead O’Connor has been found safe after she took off for a bike ride and did not come back. Police in Wilmette, Illinois, say they were called for a well-being check after O’Connor left on a bike early Sunday morning and failed to return. Police said she was found safe yesterday but they did not say where or give details on her condition. About two hours after O’Connor left, a rambling message was posted on her Facebook page about a child custody dispute and a court hearing. She had posted an open letter on Friday to her 12-year-old son, Shane, encouraging him to bring his own case against a child welfare agency in Ireland. O’Connor was not on tour and it was uncertain why she was in the Chicago area.
