(SANDUSKY) — The Sandusky Thumb Festival Parade has been changed from Sunday to Saturday evening this year. The parade, on Saturday, June 25, will start at 5 p.m. Line-up will start at the Jerry’s Foodland parking lot at 3:30 p.m. and the floats will travel east on M-46 to the DQ Grill and Chill. Registration is due by Friday, June 17. Forms may be mailed to the Sandusky Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 145, Sandusky, MI 48471; faxed to 810-648-0130; or emailed to sanduskychamber.mi@gmail.com Along with the change to the date and time of the parade, the Firefighters Refreshment Tent will be located downtown where a majority of the weekend’s events are taking place and there will be fireworks Friday, June 24 at dusk.
