(AREA) — Authorities say that the body of a 20-year old Lapeer resident, reported missing after attempting to retrieve a boat late Sunday night, was pulled from the water Monday morning in Genesee County’s Richfield Township. The man was reported missing just before 10 p.m. after he entered the water at the Outdoor Adventure Lake Shore Resort in an attempt to retrieve a paddle boat that had gone adrift. The search was temporarily suspended until early Monday morning and the body was recovered around 11 a.m. Police have not released the victim’s name or confirmed that the man was an employee at Outdoor Adventure.
