(AREA) — Another round of Sanilac County Community Foundation Scholarships awarded to graduating seniors in the Thumb have been announced. Hailey Totten, a Cros-Lex graduate, is this year’s recipient of the Thorley Family Scholarship. Hailey plans to attend Ferris State University in the fall to pursue a bachelors degree in secondary education. The Thorley Family Scholarship was established as part of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Challenge in 1996 and is available to an eligible graduates of Croswell-Lexington High School with proven excellence in academic and extra-curricular areas, planning to pursue the education field.
