In December of 2004, the first History of the Christmas Tree Walk began when the owners opened their 9,500 sq. ft. log home to the public to view over 30 decorated Christmas Trees, each decorated with a different theme or from a different period in history. The ornaments, decorations and other holiday displays offered visitors to the home an insight into Christmas history from the 1850s until the present. That first year, there were more than 800 visitors. In 2019, there were over 4,500 visitors, the highest number to date! Many families now make the History of the Christmas Tree Walk a yearly tradition. In 2021 there are now over 210 trees on display.
